Brian Code received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration with a major in Accounting from the University of South Florida. Prior to entering the insurance and financial services field in 1977, he worked for Arthur Young and Company, CPAs and was an internal auditor with Jim Walter Corporation. Brian is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional. In addition, he was awarded the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation in 1980, the Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designation in 1985, the Certified Family Business Specialist (CFBS) designation in 2000, and the Accredited Estate Planner (AEP) designation in 2003. In 2004, he earned the Certified in Long Term Care designation (CLTC) and in 2007, he became a Special Care Planner. Brian is a member of the Financial Planning Association, National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, Society of Financial Services Professionals, and Tampa Bay Estate Planning Council.

Brian is married to Karen, and they have three children. He is active in his church and involved in the community. Brian served in the U.S. Army Reserve from 1972-1978. He has been very active in junior golf organizations and served as President of the Greater Tampa Junior Golf Association for seven years. All three children have played golf for the University of Florida. He was named Golfweek magazine’s 2003 National Father of the Year. When he is not playing golf, he is often playing competitive hockey. Other interests include traveling, fishing, hunting, and skiing.
