Richard Dowse graduated in 1987 from SUNY @ Old Westbury with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with an Emphasis on Marekting & Advertising.  Richard understood the value of building a strong work ethic early in his career as he helped self- finance 100% of his education working as a Tractor Trailer Driver for a moving company.  After earning his degree, Richard joined Choice Care of Long Island in 1988 as a Sales Executive and worked there until 1991 when he then joined MetLife as a Managed Care Specialist.  Richard continued to advance his career after MetLife when he became a Senior Sales Executive with Aetna in 1993 followed by Director of Sales with HealthPlan Services in 1996 and then Ameritas Dental in 1999 as a Regional Vice President of Sales.  In 2005, Richard helped open D&B Insurance, where he has been employed ever since.  Richard is HIPPA Compliance Certified as well as Affordable Care Act and Marketplace Certified.

Richard is married to his wife, Rachel, and has 5 children.  As a Fitness Enthusiast, he stays active in his community by coaching youth athletics plus enjoys playing golf.
